Kody Brown has made his opinions known once or twice on sister wives, but now fans have a deeper look at what the patriarch thinks about FLDS. Kody has always preached about the positive attributes of a polygamous lifestyle. After decades of living the polygamous Mormon way, viewers are now getting to know Kody’s innermost personal thoughts.

For decades, Kody and his extended family have helped bring polygamy into mainstream media through their family show on TLC. Viewers have seen the family escape persecution and even protest against Utah laws. For years, fans have seen that Kody and his four wives, Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn Brown, are passionate about their beliefs and their way of life. Unfortunately, dysfunction and jealousy began to bother the family and worry viewers. Like several other Mormon sects, Kody proved his family wasn’t untouchable either.

Inside the book, each of the Browns drops tiny bombshells on their lives. Kody, who may have a Napoleon complex, even spoke of the famous Mormon offshoot. The Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is one of the fundamentalist and most extreme Mormon denominations whose members openly practice polygamy. With 10,000 members, each is loyal to Prophet Warren Jeffs who was convicted of two counts of child molestation.

In the sister wives book, Kody tries to explain the difference between the FLDS and the Apostolic United Brethren (AUB). The pair were recently spotted on a date night in Arizona while dancing at a bar. For now, Kody seems to believe in polygamy, but no one knows how much longer he will choose to live this lifestyle, as it has recently brought him more heartbreak than joy.
