United Apostolic Church holds 56th annual convention in Akure – Blueprint Newspapers Limited


The ancient city of Akure, the capital of Ondo State, prepares to welcome hundreds of thousands of worshipers from around the world as they are expected to converge for the 56th annual convention of the United Apostolic Church of Christ (UACC) around the world.

The program, which will start on Monday 15, will last until Sunday 21 November 2021.

The church’s acting national media director Pastor Paul I. Erakhifu said he will attend the ordination of 100 full-time pastors, assistants and superiors.

Pastor Paul quoted UACC President and General Overseer Reverend James Bayo Owoyemi as saying that the convention, with the theme: “The Good Shepherd” will witness intense prayers and intercessions for Nigeria and the citizens. .

Reverend Owoyemi said, “This year’s convention will be unique as it marks my first year in office. We have highlighted a range of programs for the convention, ranging from deliberation on issues relating to the church, evaluating activities over the past year, life changing seminars, powerful revivals, groundbreaking prayers, inspirational songs, tips, a Sunday school gathering and much more.

“During the weeklong convention there will be salvation, healing, signs and wonders. Many spirit-filled ministers of God will minister under the power of the Holy Ghost. Indeed, participants can never stay the same after the fiery convention.
