ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio (WTRF) – Undo’s Upper Ohio Valley Italian Heritage Festival is making a big comeback this weekend, and one of the very first events just kicked off.

Whether you love authentic Italian, fun festivities, or upbeat entertainment, this is a time that many Italian lovers have been waiting for…Undo’s Upper Ohio Valley Italian Heritage Festival.

One of the very first events that kicked off was a dinner party.

“That’s when we know it’s real.”

Michèle Fabbro, president of the festival

“This launch dinner is always exciting because it’s the start of a wonderful weekend.”

Tony Filberto, festival coordinator

This annual dinner party, full of Italians and people who love good food, means the festival is just days away.

There’s a lot to do this time around. ‘Little Italy’ is finally back, plus some new stuff in the mix. This includes new interactive activities for children and adults, as well as an Italian market.

“In the market, we wanted to present authentically Italian things.”

And if you like authentic food, this is music to your ears.

You will have several homemade pastas, a wonderful Italian cafe and a fresh bakery with homemade products to try.

And if that’s not tempting enough, your all-time favorites are back.

“We want everyone to be there.”

Tony Filberto, festival coordinator

“There is something for everyone at the festival. The animations are top notch. The food is good. The vendors are wonderful and respectful. We hope everyone will make at least a little stop at the festival one day.

Michèle Fabbro, president of the festival

The festival runs from Friday to Sunday, and everything is free.
