Soldiers were called to a house along Carls Road just before 2:30 a.m. on December 12 over a report of a shooting. They found a 25-year-old man they believe to be the suspect and arrested him. Several guns were located at the house.

Spencer’s family told Pennsylvania State Police that he was dropped off there on a camping trip with a former colleague and his friends. The police released the man who had been arrested and three others who were questioned, after consulting the public prosecutor.

The family has two fundraisers.

There’s this one for a new autopsy and for legal fees.

Then the second Go Fund Me page is about funeral expenses.

The screening of Peter Bernardo Spencer will take place on Thursday, December 30 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Apostolic Church of Calvary at 2464 Woodstock Avenue in Swissvale.

The funeral will be on Friday, December 31 at 10 a.m. at the same location.

Officials said they are still investigating what happened.
