Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, said on Saturday that his administration was committed to improving the lives of residents and supporting a unifying platform to promote unity among the residents of the Lagos State. ‘State.

Speaking on the theme of service, “Choose today whom you will serve” (Joshua 24:15), Governor Sanwo-Olu said there is no better service than that rendered to mankind and therefore urged leaders, especially spiritual and political leaders. to use their offices to serve the people.

Governor Sanwo-Olu, who is the big boss of the CAN state of Lagos, said that doing service to humanity is also doing service to God, noting that “As Christians, there is no there is no better service to God than that which you render to humanity. In his sermon, the Bishop of the Catholic Archdiocese of Lagos, Bishop Alfred Adewale Martins, emphasized the need for people and leaders to embrace unity and faithfulness in their life, state and nation, as well than service to humanity.

Bishop Martins, who was represented by Rev. Jacob Usman, said that a total commitment to the service of God and humanity requires devotion, discipline and holiness.

He therefore instructed the religious leaders, public office holders and people of Lagos and Nigerians in general to serve God faithfully.
