Michael Louis Crawford was born five minutes before his twin on June 7, 1964 in Kansas City, Kansas to Robert and Mary Crawford. He was a baptized member of the New Day Apostolic Church in Kansas City, Missouri. His life testimony was “I am blessed, better than blessed”. Michael was a graduate of Washington High School, where his talent for the game of football led to a football scholarship to Hutchison Community College. In his later years, his competitive nature would extend to softball, where he showcased his athletic skills at Klamm Park among friends in Kansas City, Kansas. He was employed at Owens Corning while continuing to work as an automotive detail technician. Michael loved his family. He was fun, outgoing, humorous, caring and charismatic and never missed an opportunity to show off his personal style. Michael left this life on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Research Medical Center. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Mary Crawford, whom he leaves cherished in his memories, a daughter Chyla Crawford (Marche) Whaley of Kansas City, Kansas, two stepsons, Kevin and Keith Lewis of Kansas City, Missouri, six brothers: Robert (Rita) Chatmon of Kansas City, Ks, Kenneth Crawford of Kansas City, Kansas, Reginald (Okerarida) Flenory of Lee’s Summit Missouri, Jeffery (Jean) Jones of Chicago, Illinois, Leroy Flenory of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Johnny Flenory of Ardmore, Oklahoma, four sisters: Paula Rodgers of Kansas City, Missouri, Sheila Flenory of Kansas City, Kansas, Dorothy (Roy) Dunn of Raytown, Missouri, Marilyn Arnold of Kansas City, Missouri, eight grandchildren, Isaiah (Isaiah Michael), Myles (Mr. Myles), Skye (Papa Baby), Layla, KaDedra, Kevin Jr., Amya, Johnathin and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends .
