Anna Lea Taylor Haga, 80, of Ararat, VA went peacefully to be with the Lord whom she served on Friday, February 11, 2022, at her home. She was born on August 22, 1941 in Panther, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Dewey & Hazel Bailey Taylor.

Anna was a member of the Little Creek Apostolic Tabernacle. She was a pious woman and a true church lady who loved to worship the Lord and listen to gospel music. She read her Bible day and night. She loved to read and cook. It was best known for its chicken and dumplings. She liked to watch hummingbirds. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.

Besides+ her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Hurley Junior Haga and a daughter-in-law, Terry Haga Willson.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Tracy Shively; his daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly & Gregory Warf; his son-in-law, Andrew & Jan Haga; his grandchildren, Chase & Cassie Draper, Keely Draper & Dakota Sigmon; Joah Shively, Ariel Shively and Jaron Shively; his great-grandchildren, Johnse Draper and Forrest Draper; four brothers, Danny Taylor, Ricky Taylor, Terry Taylor and John Taylor; and his special pet, “Snowball”.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Little Creek Apostolic Tabernacle, with Rev. Tommy Ramsey and brother. Johnny Powell officiating. Interment will follow at the Appalachian Conference Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday, February 14, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
