Christians across the country have gathered for the first time in numbers after last year’s nationwide lockdown saw the Easter weekend 2020 effectively canceled by the government in an effort to curb the spread of Covid-19.

This year, South Africa has entered Alert Level one of the lockdown restrictions that have allowed gatherings by churches, under strict conditions: less than 250 people are allowed for indoor gatherings and less than 500 people. for outdoor gatherings, with clear observations of Covid-19 health protocols.

Principal photographer Tebogo Letsie has visited Temples of the Faith to capture resurrected festivities and religious sightings in Gauteng Province.
