GREENVILLE – The fifth annual Fall into Christmas Food Truck Rally & Craft Show will be held on Saturday, November 6 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Great Darke County Fairgrounds. This celebration of local small businesses will be a rain or shine event with free entry to the Craft Fair.
The $ 3 parking fee and proceeds will be used to support the Solid Rock Apostolic Church’s Thanksgiving food drive. The Bradford congregation will also be collecting non-perishable food to bless families in Darke County.
Customers will receive an entrance ticket for the raffle when they park at the exhibition grounds. Visit the registration table located in front of the gazebo to enter the draw for a chance to win over $ 1,000 in prizes offered by local restaurants and businesses. Additional entries can be earned for each non-perishable food donated for the food drive. The raffle winners will be announced hourly and the prizes can be collected at the registration table.
Indulge in the fabulous flavors of the region’s favorite food trucks, such as Adams Greenhouse & Produce, Buckeye Burgers, Crème de la Crème Cakery, Fifty5 Rivers Barge, Hogback BBQ Pit, Homestead Spud, Kettle Colonel, La Granja Mexican Food Truck, Lilia’s Street Food Express, Little Z’s, Nacho Pig, Potato Tornados & More, Roll on In, Tortilla Street Food, What the Truck by the Cater Box and Wholly Smokes BBQ.
A large selection of over 125 local craft vendors and specialty trucks and clothing stores will be available for browsing. Shop their stands located inside the Colosseum and the 4H building and under the surrounding tents from 10am to 7pm
This family event will offer fun activities for all ages. From the North Pole, Santa Claus will make a special appearance to visit the children from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Jungle Island Zoo will offer a mini-farm and pony rides from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. will have horse-drawn carriage rides decorated for Christmas for the whole clan to enjoy from 12pm to 7pm
Full day programming is scheduled inside the 4H building, including local band “Mora & The Boys” at 11:00 am, Christmas carolers “Melody Line” at 12:30 pm and the County native. Darke, Noah Back, at 2:00 p.m.
New this year will be the Little Miss & Mister “Fall into Christmas” contest. There will be two age groups: three to five years and six to 10 years. The competition will take place inside the building from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m. Competitors will be judged based on costume creativity (fall or Christmas themed), personality, stage interview and natural beauty (no makeup is allowed).
