America’s “Christian” Foundation

There is much about the American foundation that deserves praise – the Declaration of Independence expressly acknowledges the existence of God, refers to natural law, and acknowledges that government derives its power from this God.

But the elephant in the room is this: America is one Christian nation, not one Catholic nation; and this is a serious problem.

How can the prospects of an entire country not be poisoned by a misconception about the only true faith? What authority does the government of a country believe it has when it refuses to acknowledge, much less consent to, the authority of the Mystical Body of God — the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church?

Martin Luther, the father of the Protestant revolt, continues to lead many souls astray, even 500 years later (as explained by Michael Voris in one of Church Militant’s articles Faith-based surveys).

Michael Voris, CEO of Church Militant: “What Luther unleashed on society was an attitude of rebellion against authority whereby each person becomes their own authority.”

America will forever be linked to Martin Luther and the errors of Protestantism, especially because of Henry VIII.

The Pilgrims, who came to America fearing persecution from Henry, were already poisoned by it.

Voris: “The Pilgrims would set out from English shores for the New World with their anti-Catholicism in tow. They were the seed of the nation that would eventually become the world’s foremost superpower and chief exporter of Protestant heresy across the globe.”

The rejection of Catholicism in any form will always come back to haunt you.
