From daytime adventures to nighttime outings, here’s what Northern California has planned for your weekend.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. — If an Armenian food festival, a lantern tour of an old cemetery, or chili cooking sounds fun to you, it shows there’s something for everyone this weekend in Northern California.
The weekend weather is getting colder, giving us the fall breeze we needed. Temperatures will be in the 70s with a light breeze from the southwest. Gather some friends, maybe some family, or even go solo, but get out there, soak up that fall weather, and enjoy some of those weekend events!
Calling all country music fans! This will be Sacramento’s premier country music festival featuring well-known artists Tim McGraw, Sam Hunt, Brothers Osborne, Midland, Carly Pearce, Parmalee, Michael Ray and many more. Get your cowboy hats, cowboy boots, and get dizzy for this festival!
A free afternoon of family fun and a close look at your Sacramento Kings! There will be a skills challenge, a 3×3 national cup, Slamson and Kings performers, photo ops, a kids zone, giveaways, food samples and discounts, and more.
A free community event celebrating the diversity within our vibrant community. There will be dance and music performances, live art, food and drink and more, so come meet residents, community organizations, small businesses and neighborhood associations.
Enjoy a night under the stars with live jazz music, full traditional Armenian cuisine of kebabs, lamb burgers, kufta, baba ghanoush and more, Armenian dance and music performances live, a live DJ and lots of fun for free!
A gathering to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and members of the Latino community who are connected to organ, eye and tissue donation. Come enjoy live music, tasty food and drink, and an arts and crafts area where you can decorate a sugar skull and more!

What could be more fun than a walk in a cemetery by the light of a lantern? Enjoy a guided tour through the cemetery, hear the life stories of these residents and share a greeting with a passing spirit… if you dare!
Anyone fancy an all-you-can-eat chili? This event will feature 10 contestants preparing their famous chili, and you can enjoy unlimited chili tastings, local brews on tap, wine from local vineyards, a silent auction, and even musical performances by a live band!
